The iShares MSCI Pacific ex-Japan Index Fund (Ticker: EPP) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI Pacific Free ex-Japan Index. The index seeks to measure the performance of the Australian, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore equity markets. It is a capitalization-weighted index that aims to capture 85% of the (publicly available) total market capitalization. Component companies are adjusted for available float and must meet objective criteria for inclusion to the index, taking into consideration unavailable strategic shareholdings and limitations to foreign ownership. The index is reviewed quarterly. The index uses the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS).
