The Market Vectors-RVE Hard Assets Producers ETF (Ticker: HAP) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Rogers Van Eck Hard Assets Producers Index. The Index contains a global universe of publicly traded companies engaged in the production and distribution of commodities and commodity-related products and services. Agriculture, Alternatives (Water & Alternative Energy), Base and Industrial Metals, Energy, Forest Products, and Precious metals are the six industry sectors weighted according to estimates of the global consumption of various commodities included in each of the sectors. The Hard Assets Producers Index is a modified capitalization weighted, float adjusted index. The index is rebalanced quarterly and reconstituted annually. The index is calculated and maintained by Standard & Poor's on behalf of S-Network Global Indexes.
