The iShares Dow Jones U.S. Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Index Fund (Ticker: IEO) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Dow Jones U.S. Select Oil Exploration & Production Index. The index measures companies engaged in the exploration for and drilling, production, refining and supply of oil and gas products. The index universe includes all companies in the Dow Jones Wilshire 2500 that are categorized into the corresponding sector. To be included in the index a company must have a float-adjusted market capitalization of $500 million or more. If a company is already a component of the index, its float-adjusted market capitalization must be $250 million. The index is weighed by float-adjusted market capitalization, subject to the following adjustments; 1) The weight of any individual security is restricted to 25%. 2) The aggregate weight of individual securities with weights of 5% or more is restricted to 45%. 3) The aggregate weight of the five largest companies in the index is restricted to 65%.
