The iShares S&P MidCap 400 Value Index Fund (Ticker: IJJ) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the S&P 400/Citigroup Value Index. To create the index, the S&P 400 Mid Cap Index is divided into approximately equal weights based on market capitalization into growth and value indices while limiting the number of stocks that overlap between them. Index inclusion is decided based on a style score compiled from three factors used to measure growth and four factors used to measure value. S&P style indexes are reconstructed during the month of December.
