The iShares S&P Global Financials Sector Index Fund (Ticker: IXG) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the S&P Global Financials Sector Index. The index measures the performance of companies in the financial sector that S&P believes are important to global markets. Component companies include companies involved in activities such as banking, consumer finance, investment banking and brokerage, asset management, insurance and investment and real estate, including REITs. The index is a subset of the S&P Global 1200 Index and employs the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). All companies are float adjusted and reconstitution is a continuous process.
