Index Snapshot:

The iShares Dow Jones U.S. Energy Sector Index Fund (Ticker: IYE) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Dow Jones U.S. Oil & Gas Index. The index measures the performance of the energy sector of the U.S. equity market, including oil and gas producers and oil equipment, services and distribution. The index is a subset of the Dow Jones U.S. Total Market Index and is capitalization weighted. Component companies are adjusted for available float and must meet objective criteria for inclusion in the index. Reconstitution is quarterly. Dow Jones Industry Indexes are constructed by categorizing the component stocks of the Dow Jones U.S. Total Market Index into the 10 Industries, 18 Supersectors, 39 Sectors and 104 Subsectors of the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB). A separate index is maintained for each group at each of the four levels.
