The iShares Morningstar Mid Value Index Fund (Ticker: JKI) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Morningstar Mid Value Index. The Morningstar index family consists of sixteen indexes that target 97% coverage of the U.S. equity markets. Mid Cap Indexes represent securities ranging generally from 71% to 90% of the universe based on market capitalization. Each constituent is assigned a value score using 5 value factors and a growth score using 5 growth factors. A net style score is calculated by subtracting the stock's value score from its growth score. Threshold levels for value, core and growth styles are set so that each style represents roughly one-third of the capitalization of the aggregate small cap indexes. Style index membership is reset twice annually in June and December.
