The SPDR Barclays Capital Aggregate Bond ETF (Ticker: LAG) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Barclays Capital Aggregate Bond Index. The index is Barclay's broadest measure of the investment-grade taxable U.S. bond market, including most Treasury, agency, corporate, mortgage-backed, asset-backed, and international dollar-denominated issues. All constituents have maturities of 1 year or more and investment-grade ratings (rated Baa3 or above by Moody's). The Fund invests by sampling the index so to approximate the full index in terms of key risk factors and other characteristics. The Fund maintains a dollar-weighted average maturity consistent with the index, which generally ranges between 5 and 10 years.
