The iShares iBoxx $ Investment Grade Corporate Bond Fund (Ticker: LQD), formerly known as iShares GS $ InvesTop Corporate Bond Fund, seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the corporate bond market as defined by the iBoxx $ Liquid Investment Grade Index (formerly the GS $ InvesTop Index). The index is a rules-based index consisting of up to 100 highly liquid, investment-grade, United States dollar-denominated corporate bonds that seek to maximize liquidity while maintaining representation of the corporate bond market. All bonds must have a minimum amount outstanding of $ 500 million with at least 42 months remaining until maturity. The index is equal weighted.
