The PowerShares FTSE RAFI Asia Pacific ex-Japan Portfolio (Ticker: PAF) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the FTSE RAFI Asia Pacific ex-Japan Index. The index is designed to track the performance of the largest equities of companies domiciled in the Asia Pacific region, selected from the constituents of the FTSE Asia Pacific ex-Japan Developed Large/Mid-Cap Indexes as determined by FTSE (the Index Provider). The equities are selected and weighted based on the four fundamental measures of firm size: book value, income, sales and dividends. The index consists of companies in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.
