The PowerShares Dynamic Financials Sector Portfolio Fund (Ticker: PFI) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Dynamic Financials Intellidex Index. The index is a modified equal dollar weighted index designed to identify stocks within the financial sector that have capital appreciation potential using a proprietary stock selection and portfolio construction methodology. Each 60 stocks are selected from a custom financial universe created using proprietary research. The companies are principally engaged in the business of producing, distributing or servicing energy-related products, including oil and gas exploration and production, refining, oil services, pipeline, and solar, wind and other non-oil-based energy.
