The PowerShares NASDAQ Internet Portfolio (Ticker: PNQI) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, to the NASDAQ Internet Index. The index is designed to track the performance of the largest and most liquid U.S.-listed companies engaged in internet-related businesses that are listed on one of the major U.S. stock exchanges. Component companies include U.S. internet software and services companies, such as companies that are involved in internet-related services, including internet software, website services and e-commerce, internet search engines, web hosting, website design, etc. The index employs a modified market capitalization-weighted methodology based on the market capitalization ranking of the underlying index securities and is rebalanced quarterly.
