The PowerShares NXQ Portfolio (Ticker: PNXQ) seeks to provide investment results that, before expenses, correspond to the performance of the NASDAQ Q-50 Index. The index is designed to track the performance of 50 securities that are next in line to replace the securities currently included in the NASDAQ-100. Securities are ranked and weighted by market capitalization and reflect companies across major industry groups, which may include computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade and biotechnology. The index does not contain securities of financial companies, including banking and investment companies, as these are ineligible for NASDAQ-100 inclusion. The market capitalization range of between approximately $1.5 billion and $29 billion. The index is rebalanced quarterly.
