The PowerShares Oil & Gas Services Portfolio Fund (Ticker: PXJ) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Oil & Gas Services Intellidex Index. The index is a modified equal dollar weighted index designed to identify stocks within the oil services industry that have capital appreciation potential using a proprietary stock selection and portfolio construction methodology. Each quarter 30 stocks are selected from a custom oil services industry universe created using detailed research provided Revere Data LLC. The Intellidex thoroughly evaluates companies based on a variety of investment merit criteria, including fundamental growth, stock valuation, investment timeliness and risk factors.
