The Vanguard Europe Pacific ETF (Ticker: VEA) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI EAFE Index. The index uses a free float adjusted market capitalization weighted methodology and consists of approximately 1,164 common stocks of mostly large capitalization companies. The index includes 21 developed countries in Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Far East. Currently the index is heavily weighted to European countries. The fund manager uses statistical methods to sample the index, aiming to closely track its investment performance. Currencies are not hedged.
