The Vanguard European ETF (Ticker: VGK) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI Europe Index. The index is comprised of approximately 600 common stocks of companies located in 16 developed European countries. Four countries - the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Switzerland dominate the index. The other 12 countries - Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden are much less significant to the index and the fund. The fund uses a full replication methodology and does not hedge currencies.
