The Vanguard Mid Cap Value ETF (Ticker: VOE) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI US Mid Cap Value Index. The index represents the mid-sized value companies in the MSCI US Mid Cap 450 Index. Constituents are reviewed semi-annually for style and quarterly for size. MSCI uses 3 key factors to determine value and 5 key factors to determine growth. Style placement is based on a composite score of the style factors. Buffer zones help limit index turnover caused by temporary migration of securities from one size index to another during quarterly size reviews and from one style to the other during semi-annual style reviews.
