The Vanguard Emerging Markets ETF (Ticker: VWO) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. The index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization index that is designed to measure equity market performance of 25 emerging markets. Those countries include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey. The fund manager uses a sampling technique that includes approximately 850 companies. The fund does not hedge currency risk.
