The PIMCO 25+ Year Zero Coupon U.S. Treasury Index Fund (Ticker: ZROZ) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the BofA Merrill Lynch Long U.S. Treasury Principal STRIPS Index. The principal STRIPS within the index have 25 years or more remaining term to final maturity and are stripped from U.S. Treasury bonds having at least $1 billion in outstanding face value. The index is rebalanced quarterly and bonds are capitalization weighted. The fund uses a sampling strategy to replicate the performance and yield of the index.
